My Principles

Whether working in person or remote, I’ve found that these qualities have helped myself and the product teams I’ve worked on find tremendous success

    • Engage others, be an active listener, ask thoughtful questions, show empathy

    • Learn something new every day. If there’s something I don’t know, I make it a point to learn and apply it

    • If I commit to doing something, I’ll do it the best of my ability. If I make mistakes, I learn from them.

    • Ensure that user goals, tasks, environments & feelings are taken as a key factor in the design process.

My Design Process

When I think about my design process, I don’t think of it as a mandatory checklist but rather a reference of tools and activities that I’ve learned over the years to help get me to a solution. Furthermore, it’s not a linear process, UX to me is cyclical and often time involves taking a step back to move forward. It’s an iterative playbook that I’m constantly adding to by learning and putting new UX tactics into practice.

I’m a Senior Product designer based out of Orange County, California. I’m currently leading the experience design for the Contacts team at a fintech company.
